Napier

Founded in 1875, Napier originally made silverware, but shifted emphasis to modern jewelry after World War I and stayed in business until 1999. Its early designs are highly collectible, as are its Egyptian-style pieces of the 1920s and 1930s.

During the 1950s and 1960s, Napier produced a wide variety of chunky gilt or gilding metal charm bracelets, which became very popular. Coins, antique seals, and oriental motifs are much sought-after. Another favorite line is its simple gilt mesh and silver-toned jewelry.
