Volupté

From its foundation in 1926 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, until it ceased trading in the late 1950's, Volupté was best known for its elegant powder compacts, purses, and cigarette cases. However, it also produced a limited quantity of costume jewelry. Most pieces were intricate designs of oriental, Islamic, or Art Deco influence, usually work in gold or silver tone metal and sometimes embellished with crystal rhinestones. Many have a soldered tag stamped "Volupté".
